Reviews and Ratings
The hotel may not be ideal for single occupancy, but it's suitable for a short stay. The room had some cleanliness issues and the shower needed attention, particularly for couples. However, the size of the room could be a challenge for two people.
The hotel had everything in it as described online. The rooms were spacious over 2 levels, but our specific request for 3 single beds was not met as we had a double bed and a very tiny child's bed. The service was of a high standard with helpful travel advice and assistance, although staff seemed a bit acidic when queried on certain matters. The location was superb, close to Portobello Market and Hyde Park with easy access to local restaurants and the tube station. The dining options were okay but could be improved with more hot food choices. The facilities were good, offering dry cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, and tours/ticket assistance.
The hotel is centrally located, close to the tube and Oxford Street, with friendly and helpful staff. However, the rooms were uncomfortable due to high temperatures and noise disturbances, and the dining experience had some waiting issues. But the overall experience was positive, and I would consider returning.
The hotel is situated in a convenient location near metro stations and bus stations, with easy access to shops, supermarkets, and restaurants. The rooms, although small for a couple, are suitable for a single person if sleeping in a basement doesn't bother you. The staff were polite and helpful, offering travel advice and assistance. The dining experience, while included in the price, could be slightly improved for more variety. Overall, it's a good option for the price with a nice neighborhood and proximity to local amenities.
The hotel room had a generator outside the window, making it very noisy at night. The room looked unhygienic and was quite dirty, especially the chair which was filthy. The basics were covered, but there was rubbish under the bed and gunk in the shower corners. It was quite warm in the room, I wanted to open the window but for security reasons, it was not practical.
